365 problems

I'v owned this saw for about 2 1/5 years now and had this problem from the start. I bought it 2nd hand so couldn't take it back.

The problem is when starting it from cold, It just won't start, To get it stated I have to lay the saw on it's side and open the fuel cap for about 1 minute. then it still takes 8-9 pulls to get it going. when hot it will start 1st pull every time
The saw doesn't smoke at all and I have never had any problem with it

I want to sell the saw but don't want a bad name for selling crap saws, so if it is a easy fix then I'll fix it up myself.

What would be the cause of this?

The low speed mixture needle on the carb is too lean.

If the low speed is too lean it is likely the high speed is lean also.

The needles are probably already opened against the limiter tabs?

Yup. I think the same thing. Knock those stupid limiter caps off them. Useless caps!

I will take the limiter off then, If it is too lean it will bog out in a cut? Reason being is it doesn't it runs perfectly just a bich to start

Then it is likely that the High Speed is OK and it is just the low speed that is too lean

I'll try again, I did have it in at the shop for s tune and the problem is still there

There are all kinds of shop people.

Some are outstandingly smart Others just don't care.

If the 365 was warm in the shop he may have not noticed?
