371XP cylinder

Hey guys,

Just helped dad put a Baileys BB kit on his 371 and was thinking of keeping the piston and cylinder we took off to use someday on my Jonsered 2165. The p/c both looked fine and the saw ran fine before the BB kit, so I'm thinking someday a new ring on the piston and I can use it? Any reason this wouldn't work? I already have a 372 XPW, but why not use it if I have it. Right?

Am I off my rocker here?
