372xp cylinder identification

I bought this 372XP a few years ago from a guy that couldn't get it running. He said it was a brand new OEM cylinder from the factory in Sweden (according to the sticker on the box)

I noticed that there are no markings whatsoever on the cylinder, that I can see. I'm assuming I was lied to; do the OEM cylinders have clear markings that are visible without taking off the cylinder?

That's normal, all the markings would be a little below where the pic ends.

Thanks Woodslasher......so, if there are no visible markings, this could still be an OEM cylinder? The guy seemed like a straight shooter, and was pretty detailed with his story.

You can see the Mahle mark on this one, just below the exhaust port
