well i guess nobody should pi$$ me off then and i got to load, unload and restack into the wall. the rounds that are shown are not that big they only range from 48''-10'' and i got bored one day when it was trying to snow and now people in other towns are talking about it. outta be nice and dry this summer.

Yikes it's painful for me to look at stacked rounds...the extra handling just kills me.

But yeah anytime you can lay them on the bark side they'll dry quicker...probably even in the winter too.

I alway's thought of Nevada as being hot and dry with small trees Guess I was wrong!
At least about the small tree's.

yeah i can see why you might think that(no precipitationto be found) but i guess that all depends on what you consider small and big there are a lot of 20'' and a lot of 36'' on up that are green and standing and then there are the old giants that are laying. ill take anything i can get.

How cold does it get in Nevada? I assume you are up in the mountains. About 32° is cold for Las Vegas isn't it?

no i dont live in the mountains its like 4860' above sea level or sumthing like that. i live in a valley.that depends on the year this year it has gotten down to 0 degrees and from what i can tell it is going to be a HOT summer. the highest i have seen it go is 117 degrees so i'll see how close we get to that.

Slang for "tough, hard worker" around these parts. Anyone who would wrestle big round like that in any weather is one. No offense intended. I respect anyone who puts forth that type of effort, I know it ain't easy cause I've done it...

The coldest I've seen it here at my house 20 mi. N of Reno was -4° about 5 years ago. We regularly get into the low teens and single digits at night.

Hmmm....your grandad helped you with those, didn't he?

Since there is no bark they should dry rather quickly.

since there is no bark it's ready to go...

at least the ones around here are
