:chainsawguy:...and on the seventh day, God created the Husqvarna 346XP so that man could trim the trees and grin from ear to ear.

I learned today that God uses FedEx to deliver gifts onto man. I was seated in the porcelian office with a cup of coffee when the doorbell rang -could it be here? I waited listening...my son came bounding up the stairs exclaiming: "Dad, Dad, you saw here!" Life is good! Check out the photo -ironic how my son managed to get in the picture; someday it will become his.:eek:uttahere2::rock:

I don't think I would go QUITE that far....LOL....but a Great saw!!!
Many good things written about the 346xp on this site...
I think you will be very satisfied...especially after it gets a few tanks.
Now photoed....get it out there and cut come wood!!!!

Also nice looking son and "future partner" ya got there!!!!!

The 346 is one Husky that no one has bettered yet. It set the standard how many years ago now, and the latest offerings from other manufactures still cannot best it. I'm happy to see that you have a proper understanding of it's value:clap: Mod the muffler, ditch the rev limited coil, and you'll have one fine little saw!

The MS261 is basically on par with the 346XP, but I still prefer the Husky, enough so that I traded off my MS261.

Croak!...Croak!!...
You traded off the 261 you spent sooo much effort into doing the porting mods on...???
I thought you really liked that saw...maybe the 346XP just got to be too much??

Whoa!! I think I'm bleeding creamsicle blood..!! Never saw this day coming!!!

All was not lost in getting rid of it. I needed the saw to crack the code if I was going to port them for others. I did really like it, and still do. I just prefer the 346XP. That's all. I was laid off for 4 1/2 months and used it as fodder for the 372 I built for the build-off.

macDonalds makes the best hambugers too !!
get sucked into the hype and be just another lemming ..
there are 20 yr old 50cc saws still runing that will eat a 346..
the wheel has not been re-invented..
all this 346 crap makes me want to PUKE !!

Nothing happened to the cylinder. You must be thinking of the original carb, which I ruined.
