Circulators to computer interface tools?

How about products to sence water or pipe temperature and then control circulator speed.

Would be a (water or pipe) temperature sensor, and then a controlled reostat in front of a circulator with a series of interfaces inbetween to allow computer controls....

Anything on the market along these lines or bits and pieces to build something along these lines?

You mentioned water temperature and pump speed. What would be your sequence of operation? Do you want the pump to run faster with higher water temp or slower or some other variable? One thing you do not want to do is use a rheostat in series with the pump.

yup. exactly. I would like to build a series of tools to interface temperature and motor controls using standard off the shelf components..if they exist. If not...thats another story but might be fun.
