I guess I'm just getting sentimental (well mostly mental!), but I got to thinking about the stove that was in our house when we bought it 19 years ago, a Godin upright top-loader. I learned about heating with wood on this stove, and was wondering if anyone else ever had one; I sold it back in 1992. It was a good stove, heated up quickly; only "drawback" was it only had a small door and a piece of "mica" that all you could see were coals not the fire. It actually could burn wood or coal, but I only used wood.

Guess it's kinda like remembering an old girlfriend (or "flame" if you will)!!
