Hey Scotty what part of Arizona you in? I live in Sedona and accidentally tried trees too and got hopelessly addicted. I’ve worked with chainsaws a few times in my life and I’ve loved climbing trees since I was a kid. I’ve done a lot of free lance tree work all friends and friends of friends I’ve helped out basically charging them nothing. Id like to get actually serious about this though and legitimate so I’m doing all that I can but unfortunately I don’t know any certified and/or experienced arborist in this area. I’m starting to accept the possibility I may have to commute an hour or two north or south to find someone I could work under and learn, the best and maybe even only, way this work should be learned.
