The saw the kid is holding looks different - the handle is black. In all the other pictures the handle is natural metal.

I'd almost consider it if it were an AV model, as in the bottom picture, just so the kid doesn't come with it. I have enough of those already.

Iv got a huge stihl that looks very close to that everything but the bar and chain are their. Its a little low on compression. Is it worth fixing ?

I'll pay to have it shipped to Kansas, to rid you of the headache.........:)

Just kidding. A huge old Stihl is worth fixing. I'm sure you can find all of the info and most if not all of the parts for it right here on AS. Just ask, and use the search engine.

Well the 1 i have has good spark and looks like the carb was rebuilt before someone junked it. ( I got it from a junk yard years ago and haven't messed with it since, this thread made me decide to pull it out. ) I pulled the muffler and see t he bottom ring is slightly stuck not to much scoring on the piston that i could see. Ill try and pull the jug on it tonight. Im hoping it will only need a new piston and rings.

The Jacka$$ from NY scammed the other guys picture, probably for a fraudulent sale. The gentleman from California is an honorable guy. I've dealt with him before and he's the best of the best.
