bar sizes for Poulan Countervibe 3400

Hi,
I'm new to this online format but since I can't seem to find an answer to my question on the internet maybe one of you can answer my question. I've go a Poulan 3400 Countervibe. Runs like a top. The bar on it is 18". I have a need for a bigger bar but don't know if I can put one on that saw. If I can't put on a bigger bar, I've got to buy another chain saw. Thanks.

Yes you can run a longer bar on that saw-but it is going to have a hard time pulling more than a 24 inch_ (and it will probably not like the 24" in buried bar cuts) Try this link: http://www.oregonchain.com/selguide.htm

I got a brand new 22" bar from a poulan pro 330. I use them on my poulan 3750. Right now the saw is dead, so If you want to buy one of the 22" bars let me know.

The poulan pro 330 and the poulan 3750 use a K-041 bar mount. The poulan 3400 uses a D-176 bar mount. Quite a difference in the tail pattern.

Thanks Ray for the update. Because I dont have a clue to what fits what yet. I was hoping whoever was looking would know their saws needs. I only know what fits my 2 saws. Thanks again.
