Poulan 3400 countervibe

HI All,

I am UK based and recently got hold of an old Poulan Countervibe 3400 circa 1980 - not very common over here. Runs well and has a 7 spur 3/8 star sprocket. This is worn out - I can get hold of a NOS Oregon rim sprocket drum for it. Are there any known issues fitting this rim sprocket to the saw, considering the original that the saw came with was a spur sprocket? The seller does not know - its just a old NOS he found lying around . I have heard of people buying chinese copy parts which were oversize and caused problems.

I dont see why not. They came with them oem too.

Give it a simple muffler mod like the countervibe 4000 saws have. Great saws
