Dear Listserv members,
Is anyone interested in inheriting an ivy collection, or do you know of a
garden who might? Here's a message we received at AABGA. Please feel free to
contact this individual directly.

My name is Brian Kanotz and I am the greenhouse manager at Callaway Gardens
in Georgia. I am in the possession of a substantial Ivy collection which I
have no use for. The collection was donated to us circa 2002 by Mendocino
Coast Botanical Garden in California. I believe that it was brought in for
use in our topiaries. Unfortunately, we do not have the greenhouse space or
manpower to grow enough ivy for our topiaries. The collection would be more
useful to a garden that may display it or use it for research. I am writing
to ask if you know of any institute that would be interested so that I may
contact them. It would naturally be donated with only the cost of shipping
being involved. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to contact me or pass along my contact information to
anyone that you feel may be interested. Thank you,
Brian Kanotz
