Making trips between the house and boiler makes for a slippery path. So I usually spread a shovel load of ashes for traction.I did this the other night and the next morning around the ashes was a very bright green/yellow.(brighter than anti-freeze) Has anyone ever seen this happen? No its not urine, It runs the whole length of where I spread the ashes and the path.

hey they are suppose to be green, should notice some red too. Its christmas time. Got any santa clause prints in there? Just being a smart ass, dont have a clue why your seeing green

Sounds like copper/bronze residue/sulphate, burning any metal in yer fire or 'chimney-cleanin' fire logs' lately, maybe colored newspaper ads??

Just a thot :greenchainsaw:

dead elm seems to produce greenish particles in my ashes. Kind of a granular substance.
