broken plug wire 180 still

that little thick black rubber line to the plug broke on the 180.It looks like a nightmare to chase it down into the guts,,,can I just graft on a piece of romex onto it for now???

Can your romex block 20KV plug voltage without shorting out?

Quantify "broke" by posting some photos.

On some Stihl coils the HT lead is replaceable, others not. Again photos of the coil needed.
