Building 660 Clone

I just started building a 660 clone last night. My question to everyone is how easy should it be to spin the crankshaft once you have bolted both sides of the crank case together? I have watched some build videos and it seems that the crankshaft spins a lot easier in the videos. If there is a problem with my build so far, it's not visually obvious. Anyone have knowledge about what to look out for when installing a crankshaft?

Crank might need centering... or just a tap each way to relieve any pressure on the bearings. Don't hit the crank with anything too hard
