Building a wood boiler!!

I'm hoping to heat our home, and pool in the spring. We only have a 1100sqft home. So I figured loading it when I get up for work, then once at lunch (I only live 3miles from work), then when I get home and again before bed

My question is now should I run a 3 way valve that only allows water to go thru the heat exchanger inside my furnace when it calls for heat
