Not often you see a meat cleaver in the top of a tree. It's about 4' by 6' plus the handle. I'm guessing someone did a partial job of removing the tree during the previous ice storms. Maybe I should stop by sometime and talk to the home owner. I would hope it wasn't a local company but I've heard some stories/seen some things like that done by locals.
Yes it's on Jefferson just north of Sunshine on the west side.
