A friend gave me two cuttings from a bronze tree she called Carribean Copper. Her tree is about 15 feet tall with fat tear drop leaves that are golden on one side and bronzed on the other. When broken, the young red shoots exude a milky white fluid. I've looked for information on this tree and can't find anything under the name Carribean Copper. Could it be a shrub? Please help me identify this tree and tell me anything you can about it's care and growth habits.

Thank you,

Mimi

Euphorbia cotinifolia

Mimi,

Try looking up Euphorbia cotinifolia. This might be the plant you're looking for.
