Seems simple enough to put a converter similar to a woodstove on the outdoor boilers.. Anyone tried it ? Might make a lot of people more receptive to the outdoor boilers as well as using a little less wood and a LOT less junk in the air. . In another post, I mentioned I was getting a Shaver 165 and they have the pipe WAY down in the firebox. Instead of getting the pipe down that low for increased combustion, just make the pipe shorter and have a slideable converter that could be pulled in and out easily from the outside. Obviously I haven't fired it up yet but thats gotta smoke out the door like crazy when its opened. I plan to put a weatherproof switch outside on the boiler so I can at least shut the draft motor off before I open the door.
