Well................I ain't been to Virginny in about 15 years. Thall gonna be there?

If I get it, I'm going to put a used 372 tank on there, (if it'll fit), and see if the thing will run.

Hurry up and get down here. I'm gonna start starving ole Blue tonight and in a few days he'll be real hungry. I'll get him to sniff that saw and all we gotta is follow ole Blue to China and then to the seller. Might a take few days over air and water but we'll get them sumabiches. You sharpen up ya Bowie knife and I'll bring a frying pan. Nothing ole Blue likes better than Chinese mountain oysters.....

Of course they are preying on the American and other places looking to get the deal without doing the research and/or where price point is more important than ethics.. A case of you get what you pay for...but in this case I doubt that's even true. Yet another risk of online sales vs. dealers who hopefully buy thru established brand distributes.

It has been attempted to sell those saws (both "Husky" and "Stihl" versions) as the real thing at at least one Internet Sales site here in Norway. When I contacted the seller (a Norwegian) he said that he really believed they were the real thing, but the ad got pulled......

I have seen them on Evilbay UK too.

As they say you get what you pay for...

What a POS....Sometimes a person can find a decent deal and there is times where it sounds to good to be true...So there ya go....

I paid what I thought was a fair price, and I hope he got what he thoguht was fair.
The deal was not too good to be true.
Looking at the box pics, I think I would think it was a real Husky :(

The worst part of it is that the forgery doesn't just include saws but literally any item that is considered a premium brand. Having been over there many times I've seen it all, there are several levels of quality in their fakes, some are done cheaply, others take some degree of inspection to determine they are fake. They are priced according to the quality of the fake. Hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars of goods are counterfeited each year, US customs does a pizz poor job of catching them. Look for it to only get worse, sad part is once they figure out they can move a reasonable volume, they will improve they quality to a point where it will be even more difficult for the average joe to figure them out. I've bought excellent copies of name brand watches to give as gifts for around 150-200 dollars apiece that a small town jeweler prolly wouldn't know it's a fake, compared to the 15 dollars copies sold on the street. The same will happen with saws in time.

not gonna happen guys; forget it. do you think this is the first guy coned ?
think again. if every hoaxed Joe got his money back, would those forgers be in business?

the money are bygones I think. deal with it.
deception is a reality since the Snake and Eve.
