cherry bark oak

We have a tree commonly known as 'cherry laurel'. Grows in hotter climates, not very freeze tolerant. Bark looks a lot like a laurel oak, but a little more uniform. Brown, looks kinda like #2 sandpaper. Growth pattern is a lot like a laurel oak too, but if you crush the leaves it has a cherry smell. A tad more brittle than laurel oak and leaves are softer.
