Dump question number 112 or so. I should know the answer but I learn new stuff everyday. This Lady bought a Cherry tree from a nursery here locally. I haven't ever seen a cherry tree around here that bared cherrys, I assume this is because they need so much chill time to set fruit and its really warm here even in the winter. I mentioned this to her, and she said the guy at the nursery told her to put ice on the root ball for so many times to get it to bare. I find this hard to believe, but who knows maybe it is true. Anyone ever heard of this or know it to be true or false? Thanks for indulging me.

Low temperature at the site of the flower buds might induce effect but dumping ice over the root is nothing more than expensive irrigation. :msp_w00t:
