I have an older Collins axe head and need to find a handle for it. I went to the local hardware store which carries collins axes, they had a handle so I tried that. Won't fit. The handle is too fat to go into the head, plus also the head isn't the right shape. On the head there are 2 triangular pieces of iron on either side of the head which go over the handle. So instead of being a flat surface where it would meet up with the handle, this has 2 pieces of metal. Anybody know where I can find the correct handle?
