Does anyone know what years the 917.61401 series of DB's were made? I can't seem to find that out. Not that it needs to be said, but this forum is great! Thanks for all the excellent information.

I see my link didn't work, so go to acres internet.com and click on chainsaws, then scroll down to craftsman ckick on that and it will open up to the models. Then find the one you need. Hope this helps. Tom

Thanks...very helpful information. I just can't get over this being almost a 100cc engine. Seems huge for a saw! Doesn't seem to have a huge amount of compression though. Good thing. If it did I'd have a heck of a time starting it.
