I was curious how other people are handling the lack of the swivel on the Rope Runner Pro. I've see some people use a ring on the bridge to which they attach a carabiner and then the RRP, but that just elongates the whole setup even more. Here are all the ideas I've seen or can think of, and I was curious if anyone's tried them and/or come up with better solutions:

Offset carabiner to go straight from RRP to bridge - this seems nice as you don't have any thing permanently affixed to the bridge and it would keep the assembly length to a minimum:

Carabiner with a swivel affixed to bridge - this wouldn't be as tight as the above, but it would allow a for quite a bit of flexibility and would be shorter than using the ring. Downside is the carabiner is permanently affixed to the bridge, but would probably be used quite often:

Ring on bridge to which you could attach a carabiner - would be the lightest, but adds some length to the assembly:

Swivel affixed to bridge to which you could attach a carabiner - not really sure why you'd go this route unless you really wanted flexibility of rotation because it's going to be longer than the ring solution:

I'd also be interested in other products as alternatives to the above (using the carabiner with swivel, but a different brand than DMM, for example).

Thanks!

I also use a ring. Never given me any trouble. Could use Petzl Rollclip Z if you only wanted one connector.
The rollclip would orient the RRP to one side or the other, whereas the ring offsets it by 90 - at that point I could also just use a carabiner to affix the RRP directly to the bridge.

Really the goal of my post (which I apologize for not putting in the original post) was to figure out how to get the RRP to orient front/back instead of side-to-side while keeping the vertical length of the assembly to a minimum.
