Below in the thread titled "Pathology" Murphy4trees asked about sites linking forest health and environmental stress factors. I thought this general reference site could provide some interesting links. From Texas we provide statistical data from our oak wilt epidemic along with noted changes in rainfall pH, sampling since the early 1980's. Our treatment recommendations for individual stands involved spiking nutrient ammendments to higher than base-line levels established from our soil tests prior to the 1980's. We certainly have witnessed some severe changes that coincide with the acceleration of the reported infection centers.
