Does anyone sharpen their dawgs?

Just wondering if anybody filed their dawgs? Mine are getting dull but still seem to work ok?

Not me, they are sharp enough they usualy get me when I put the side cover on, or adjust chain. I think they are plenty sharp.

Not a good idea at all, IMHO.

Never had them slip on account of bieng dull.

Have had 'em slip a bit after finding wire, and forcing the last bit of cut though.

Yep, sharpened the spikes, but then, I used my chainsaws.

If it sticks enough leave it be, if not file away. You are going to get all kinds of answers but if it is not working the way YOU want it to then do what needs to be done.
