Want to Buy Dolmar 5100 oem piston wanted

Looking for an oem piston for a 5100 I have that I found an aftermarket piston in. Don't want to put that piston back in the saw. Thanks

nate is a dolmar dealer and can probably help you out.

Others are Edge and Engine online, or Cutting Edge both in NY.

I have found them for $80 dollars. That's just more then I want to have into the saw. I already have the rings but that's not a big issue. A decent used one would be ideal. Or a quality aftermarket like Meteor , but haven't seen one from them.

VEC is the only one making an aftermarket for the 5100/5105 that i am aware of. Not sure who is importing them though.

Thanks , I am aware of the VEC brand. I was a bit surprised. This 5100 has heated handle and in very nice shape but I found an aftermarket piston in it that has a 1.5mm ring and a clumsy looking piston. The distance from the ring to the crown is greater then stock , it is windowed ..... I don't like it it and don't want to sell that way. HMM I may call Meteor and try my luck with them which I had thought of doing before but figured they didn't have it. Strange , seems that would have been a money maker for them ....

since stihl and husky dropped piston prices meteor is probably hurting and i would think they would be looking for new opportunities like the 5100 and 7900 pistons but so far i havent seen anything
