dump bed air or hydrolic

My truck was out of service this year for fire wood, but i was able to use a friends dump truck this year. Now I want to convert my truck to a standard bed dump. What would you go for, the new air bag type dump or the hydrolic type?

I saw that airbag setup on "Trucks" last week.
Looked ok i guess, but i'd go with the tried & true hydraulic setup.

I wanted to do the same thing to my truck, and did lots of research and found very little. I figured if converting a pickup into a dump was a good idea, many more people would have done it. I found a one ton stake truck with a dump on it real cheap. Best investment I made.

I've seen the old style kits for around $900-$1200.

Not sure on the airbag setup $

I have had both electric dumps and pto operated pumps. The pto operated pump is much better, more money but will worth it. As the electrics seem to slow down with age. Good Luck
