Want to Sell Early Stihl 044 10mm

Here is what I believe to be a early 044. I assume it is a 10mm pin. The saw has been sitting for awhile. The fuel tank needs a good cleaning. It has spark, good compression and a decent looking piston. There is epoxy on the tank and the top cover has a broken tab. Also one bar stud has boggered threads. It should make someone a decent project. I think $380 plus shipping is fair

what is the serial # That will tell the story, if it is I'm interested

also has a heated carb and the winter cover for the recoil, early large clutch cover and what looks like the 4mm recoil screws so that should be an early slant fin 10mm, early style original air filter cover too

based on the case detail circled in red, I'd vote it's a 12mm saw. Serial number will/should tell us for-sure.

I believe the 12mm wrist pin saws started with serial number 129382283.

The serial is 129911584 if that is 10mm 12mm???????????? What I do know is it is a saw that needs to find it's way to the FedEx truck.
