I have a new to me Echo PB-620 blower I bought from a friend. He had replaced the carb w/ some Amazon product. I have been through the carb twice, changed the fuel, replaced a rotten fuel line, fuel filter, and spark plug. Unit will not run past mid throttle. I have not checked for spark loss when it shuts off yet. I suspected bad main seals so I replaced those, no change. Was it common for these units to have bad ignition coils? Acts like it hits a threshold for the coil and it just shuts down. Any advise would be great before I spend $100 bucks on an electrical part that cant be returned.
Thanks, Roger

Swapped out the ignition coil with a take-off unit, no change. Will be installing the original carb, also have a take-off unit from the same PB610 as the used ignition coil. I cleaned both of the Echo carbs, will install this weekend and hopefully get it running good. There's leaves that need attention.
