Efco grinder

I was in a local saw shop the other day and the guy had a Efco chain grinder. He said it was just like the 511a, but about $100 cheaper. I looked on Efcos site and found nothing, and I did more searching and found nothing.

Is this just another chinese knock-off, or is it a well built one? Anyone use one of these before?

Are you sure that the company wasn't EDCO not efco?

where at cheapest i have found them is about $310

Efco USE to make one of the best grinders. They had a reversible motor direction. They are very similar to the 511 and some parts will interchange. I do not know about the new ones but the EFCO grinder myself and my dealer have were closer to $600 when new. But that was several years ago. The old ones are great if you can find them.
