They had their own in Italy. It is now owned by Husky, who "inherited" it from E-lux, along with many other OPE related factories. Some later Partner saws have been made there, but I don't know much more about it.

I got lucky. We have an Efco dealer 10 minutes from the house. I now own 3. One new red 156, one NOS JD 62, and a NOS smaller JD.
