Fall Colors

We just moved onto 2 acres of mostly wooded property in NW Indiana. I would like to add some splashes of color by planting some trees that turn the fiery oranges and vibrant yellows that I've seen along the road in the fall. Our soil is mostly dune sand. Any suggestions? Thanks!

How about Sassafras? is it native to your area ? We have alot hear and it is very sandy here also. The fall colors are awesome!
