First fire in Western Oregon

Fired up the stove this evening. As crummy as the Summer was out here, September wasn't bad at all and I think this as long as we've ever held out.

I didn't want to roast yet, so I flicked on the thermostat. I'm lazy.

I REFUSE to light a fire in September, its just not right.

Just looked at the calendar, still to early.

We're burning too. It was into the 30s here next to the Puget Sound this morning.

Yesterday I finally turned off the air and turned the heat pump on but only because my better half was chilly it was 69 in the house even after being 40 the night before.
