Approximate cost 5 to 10 dollars using rated cordage.
The following video demonstrates the use of a length of cordage, tubing and the sliding double fisherman's bend and figure 8 on a bight or bunny ears to make an inexpensive foot loop for ascent or work/play positioning in the tree.
The climbing is done for demonstration purpose only, a complete system is not used and I am not securely connected to the climb line, your complete ascent/descent system of choice would need to be used.
