I suspected an infestation in the woodshed in early fall, so I put some rat poison in a few strategic places. The poison promptly disappeared after placement.
Well, I finally worked my way to the very back stack this week, and found the culprit. He was totally dried out, and as I kicked him out the front entrace the carcass made a sound like a dried out gourd.
My masochism only goes so far, and I resisted the urge to fire up the Husky and see what was making the sound, but I smiled nonetheless as I thought, "chainsaws, good for all sorts of cutting"...
