Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on furtlizers for trees? I have 4 liquidambar trees, which are my main concern. I'm using a mild furtlizer for many of my plants called 'grow power plus' and was curious if I could use this on the trees.

I appreciate any thoughts on the matter.

Thanks a bunch! Christina

Could you please provide a link or manf details to the specific fertilizer you are using.

I do not know if it is liquid, granualar, organic etc or it's NPK ratio etc etc.

Also, could you please let us know a little about the trees, like how big they are ... what's under them, what the soils like, etc maybe a pic would be good. :)

Also, the season is changing to fall now and the tree will lose it's leaves soon and go dormant for a while ... that has a bearing too.

In general, you can fertilize young trees and ornamental trees for an added boost. However, mature trees don't need and won't benefit from fertilizer. Again, in general.
