Good morning! Stihl 066 magnum falls back to cold start setting while cranking

Hi y’all. My name is Caleb Brooks. My grandfather owns a Stihl 066 magnum that he bought around 1995 and it has served he and I both wonderfully. He is getting older now and can’t start it like he used to and I do all of the mechanical work on our saws now. He called and informed me that it is having an issue
