ArboristSite Lurker
Hello, I'm new to this site. I'm an unexperienced want-to-be arborist with sundry outdoors work experience, including chainsaw exp, tree care, rock climbing, rec tree climbing, but no official arborist training.
Love trees, working hard outdoors, doing things right: realizing at 30 that the Arborist field is for me (along with building tree-honoring/enhancing treehouses--I'm about to post another thread in Arborist 101 looking for advice on education in that vein).
Looking at many of the threads here it seems the way to go is starting as a groundsman under a good climber and learning the ropes. That's the intention of this posting--anyone in the Denver/Boulder, CO, area looking for a hard-working, patient, careful, and intelligent understudy to help you out? Now or spring??
Look forward to hearing from you,
Ben
