Has anybody used a fire chief wood burning furnance

Yes for 3 years now. We have the model 700. I am getting ready to buy another one for the farm house, going to go with the model 1100 for the farm.
No problems at all in the last 3 years, this will be the 4th winter on the stove.

Did it make a big difference. Also if you pack her pretty full how long does it last. Thanks for your help
 
It has been our only heat since installed. We have baseboard heaters but have not been used since installing the wood furnace.
Our house is over a 100 years old very little insulation, if it is real cold fill it up with good wood like oak or hedge when you go to bed. And it is still going in the morning a well insulated house would be even better. You don't have to shut the stove down to clean the ash's the shaker grate works great.
