Found an old bar mounted file guide by Oregon. It is probably from the late 80's and its yellow instead of black like the current model. The guide seems to be all together and in very nice shape, but no instructions. I'm just learning to hand file with a guide and it isn't as hard to do as I thought it would be. I do find it difficult to get both sides looking alike. Being right handed, I feel awkward working on the left side of the saw(facing the power head from front). I'd like to try the Oregon guide, but not sure of some of the adjustments. There's a flat metal band that adjusts back and forth along the chain, that could be a stop to hold the cutter. That, and one or two other little things are holding me back. I can't find the instructions on the internet. Anyone know of a site that would have them? Thanks for any assistance.
