A neighbor needs a hand cutting down a moderately big tree, the
trunk is about 30" DBH and the leaves look like the palm frondy
sumac, with more of a weeping willow shape. There are also
seed pods or fruits, they smell like lemon detergent, are somewhat
woody in texture and when cut in half, have a strange compartmented
interior with translucent pockets and a strong lemon scent. The fruits
are about 1.5 to 1.75" in diameter. I can get some pictures posted
if needed.
Secondary, if someone can ID it, any good for firewood?
Thanks a bunch in advance.
