with my CAD i picked up another homelite, i think its a xl-800, its hot a 2.065 bore, 82 cc, anyways it has 30psi compression, but the bore and piston are in very good shape, the rings must be wore right out, anyone know how hard it would be to find rings that fit?

Do you have it apart? If not and you're just looking through the ports, it's probable that the rings are just stuck in the grooves, especially if the saw's sat unused for a long period. I can't imagine a saw being able to wear the rings out (but not the P/C) to where it'll only push 30 PSI. 100 PSI would even cause significant issues.

If the rings are stuck, remove the piston and let it soak in a really good penetrating oil / rust solvent for a good long while. Even then I tend to have 50/50 luck on breaking a ring when trying to pry them free.
