homelite saw

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a homelite saw that has and eagles head on the end of the pull rope. The guy i just bought this from said he got it from the fire department he used to work for it is a pretty old saw probably 1960 ish not sure. any info would help the saw is very big and does run got lucky to find this one.model # 20 mcs serial# 306375 from port chester NY

If you could post some pictures of the saw, someone will be able to give you some info. Does the saw have a tag with a model or UT number?

The bar in that pic sure looks cool. Anyone else cut holes in their bars like that? Have any pics?

The reason the holes are in the bar was weight reduction... Untill
they found out the holes when felling get clogged with saw dust.

a 20MCS for $15? you dun damn good. $15 is a steal for a saw like that.
