Homelite Super EZ. Complete powerhead. Seems to be complete and in pretty good condition. Has compression but starter doesn't want to retract. $25 plus shipping.

$20 plus shipping. If you use the USPS postage calculator and use the dimensions 15 x 12 x 9, and the weight of 12 lbs. from ZIP code 96093, it should give you the exact cost of shipping. Thanks.

Pop the recoil off and take a look at the color of the ignition module/coil Spin it over and see if she has spark

The key issue on the SEZ is the ignition. Checking that out will assist in making a sale

I really don't wanna spend a lot of time messing with the saw.... I'm practically giving it away, as it is. If nobody wants it for what I'm asking, I will toss it in the dumpster. I figured someone here would need a few parts, but shipping is so ridiculous now, I'm not sure if it will be worth it to anyone....

That is exactly why I asked you to pull the recoil and look at the ignition. You can save a lot of shipping to some great members here that need parts. They can just buy what they need and you can chuck what they do not

I will roll the diice and give you the $18 hopefully the ignition is good if not well it will be a another in the shoot pile. I need a pp address to send the money to. i will have FedEx swing by next week and grab it

Without seeing the model and serial numbers, and given the color hue and the white on the recoil my guess is a early 70's saw with points, so no worry about the blue coil of death.

Thanks, but I was already in negotiations with another guy. It is sold.

Well when you work on 100 or so you wil find that all the things you mentioned are correct. The exception is the fact that I can go grab 20 or so that have been parts swapped around to make it go. There is no doubt the recoil cover indicates points but if you make a bet on what is behind it you will have better chances on the casinos. A simple 2 minute check gets a guy a long ways in saving a few bucks in shipping and then the chinese get some scrap to send us back
