My Honey Suckle Vine every year gets some kind of disease that starts out with black spots then the leaves turn yellow and shrivel up while the actual bell shaped flowers turn to a texured fuzzy gray color. What is this disease? What is the best way to treat it without any hazard to the environment or to the Humming Birds who like to feast on the flower's nctor?

sounds like powdery mildew but without a picture guesses are uneducated.
