About a month ago, I purchased a Tulip tree from the Arbor Day Foundation. It is of the bare-root kind. I planted it in my front yard and have been religiously watering it (I don't think too much). How long should a tree like this take to show some signs of life? After a month, it is still just a stick in the ground. I'm worried that I didn't plant it high enough... this is the first tree that I've planted!

Thank you,
Andrew

I did a bunch of research on how to plant a tree on a slope and this was the preferred way. How else would you suggest?

Plant with root flare at or near grade. looks wet in there; soil should dry out between waterings

to see if it lives, scratch the bark. :tongue2:
