mike,
as far as german saws go; to many stihls to list, 2-120 sachs, 1-153 sachs, i just sold my brother a 667 solo. i think that's it for them but i'd have to look.
i know the early makita's interchange with sachs-dolmar. they are still made in the same plant in germany. for tech and parts i have the phone number you can call.

Sachs-Dolmar 114 and 116 si
McCulloch 1-71, 250
Mall #7
Terrill
Lombard #34
Homelite lcs26, super 2
Disston DO-101
I only burn about a cord a year so I cut little slices like I'm racing.
Down, up, down.
Wow, that was fast!

Lets see, 5 saws on the truck and 4 in my shop, 2 of which need repair.
Those on the truck are used on a daily basis.

saws

lets see,

2-335xpt, 2 -257, 1 - 371xp, 1 - 395xp , but as it seems i got alot of catching-up to do. All work fine but the 257's are getting old and worn.

i will have to phone Mr. Visa and see what he says about the sitution.

need to fill in the gap in the saw line up, may be a 357 xpw, hell why not 385xpw ,I hope Mr Visa is in a good mood.

numbers

Just four, and one's a pole pruner.

'02 Husky 346XPW
'81ish Partner p55 (runs at its own will, rarely at mine)
'99 Husky 371XP

BTW, the new 346xp which ya'll helped me to choose is one fine little package, especially w/ Mr. Walker's mods. I still want to try Doug's Greffardized Jonsy to see how it runs.

Right now the counts @ fifteen, one each of the following:
Echo 280E, 440EVL, 3400, PT260 Pole Pruner, SachsDolmar 120SI,
Husky 23, 55, 42sp, (2) 246, 346xp, 261, 262xp,371xp, 281xp, 288xp Lite. I would like to add a 385 or 394/5xp in the future if I can pick up a clean one at a GOOD price but who knows.

suggestion

To make poll a little more meaningful you might want to do more than one so ass to separate out the dealers and big pro saw users. I responded, but the number was new saw stock.

It would be interesting to see the numbers without us dealers mixed in.

A bit of overkill maybe but,

For my one crew company:

4 335XPT, one Walkerized

Craftsman (Solo 651) 216 hours til I get my hands back on it, cant wait- do your stuff, Mr Greffard. When she goes head to head with a stock 372 and makes a race out of it, boy will some jaws drop!!

2 036 Pro, 1 034 Super. Lookin to sell an 036, as tuned Cman will blow them out of water.

2 044 Magnum

1 372 XP, Madsenized, soon to have a tuned muffler.

2 066 Magnum (7.7 hp w/old dual port muffler)

3120 XP Greff'd, lookin for a dyno to see if it is pushin 14 hp!!

Some 020S, rarely used, same with the 44 Husky, and 154 Husky, and Poulan S25DA.

Lookin to win another Cman on ebay!!

Next saw will likely be a Efco 962, same weight, 0.3 more hp than 357, and 50-100 bucks cheeper...

...cheep cheep

Seths 088

HI Rob
Seth's 088kd is one sweet saw and fast too and the Matchu chain is the kicker.I hope to see you guys at Danny's in April.thanks Ruffus Nelson

Does running a few seconds at a time count?

I've got 10 Homelites of various models and vintages that will run if you aren't asking for much. I've got one that is in wood cutting form and I finally got my Stihl 031av running.

9

Stihl: 2-019t's, 026pro

Husky 33, 61, 266, 288, 3120

And an old green stearns

The latest addition to the collection is a Husky 357XP. WOW do I like this saw! This is probably the only saw that I would ever need but have a few others in standby.
The second is a 346XP with an opened up exhaust and a clutch cup that accepts rim sprockets. Its just a great saw.
The next would be an old Husky 45 with a 20 in bar.I love this one for clearing out the real light brush around the yard. The 20" incher is nice.....I dont have to bend over.
My last saw which sees absolutly no use and is in just about perfect condition is an old Power Mac 320. This was my first saw and will have it around till i die.

I have three that are in great running shape and cut through wood like butter.

Stihl 025
Stihl 044
Stihl 034 Super

Have a nice day:)
Andy
