How to get rid of Sumac tree

My Step Mother has a problem with some trees that are growing all over her property like bamboo. My wife says they are Sumac (I call them weed trees). How do I get rid of them for her?

Cut them to the ground and when they reappear apply a non-selective, systemic hebicide...glyphosate a.k.a. Roundup, to the new growth.

If it is Bamboo you may have to do this several times.

Ailanthus. Evil nasty wicked trash tree, but succumbs easily to RoundUp. Cut down the bigger ones, spray the stumps and the smaller ones.

If this is ailanthus, it will come back, but keep hitting it.

If it's native Sumac vine don't touch it without protection.It is way nastier than poison oak.
